In 2017 IFCAH funded projects on Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia for an amount of 350000€. Following IFCAH’s call for projects, 13 letters of intent have been received. Among them, 6 projects have been pre-selected for being reviewed and auditioned by the scientific committee the 19 of June 2017.
Pr Michel Polak (president of IFCAH’s scientific committee) announced on September 15th 2017 the selected projects at the International Meeting of Pediatric Endocrinology in Washington (USA) in front of 4000 endocrinologists from around the world. Selected projects are listed hereafter:

“Cell-Based Therapy for the Treatment of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia”, Dr Bréault, Boston, USA, 120 000 € (100 000€ AFM)
“A systems biology approach towards the understanding of the pathophysiology of congenital adrenal hyperplasia”, Dr Krone, Université de Sheffield, 110 000 €
